Welcome to my home education site!

I'm Sarah, married to Tim and mum to Rosie (aged 14) and April (aged 7). We've been home educating since Rosie reached compulsory school age - now she's only 2 years away from college! We consider ourselves to be eclectic homeschoolers in that we incorporate a variety of methods into our home learning. We enjoy Waldorf style nature tables and art, Montessori learning materials and Charlotte Mason narration and nature study. We also use a lot of, what would be considered, more "mainstream" learning materials - some of our favourites are BBC Schools and PBS Learning.

Although we've brought in curriculum materials over the years, I've also spent a lot of time making them - I still do! Quite a few of the materials I make can be found on this site in the shop - both purchase and freebies. These are fairly generic learning materials which can be used by anyone. If you are looking for Montessori materials I provide those on a separate site which you can get to from my links page.

I also have a blog where I document some of our learning and days out and also post updates to the site - it's the first place to go if you are looking for new materials!
