NOTICE ON PICS - All pics on this blog (unless otherwise stated) are my personal work. DO NOT take pics from this blog without seeking my permission first! Bless you.

Welcome to my blog. It is updated weekly with pictures and projects from our homeschool - maybe you can find something to inspire you :) I have a (no longer updated) materials page elsewhere on my website and will, occasionally, post my homemade materials in this blog.

I'm married to Tim (delivery driver and gorgeous musician), have 2 daughters, live on the south coast of the UK and have 1 aging cat (Hemmingway or Hemmy for short). I love reading, yoga, crafts, baking, daft old comedies, music and teaching.

On this page you can find my homeschool blog, if you want to read my general, day-to-day blog, click the link below :)

NOTE ON PICTURES: This shouldn't be necessary but I have, sadly, noticed growing cases. Please DO NOT link directly to pictures on this website - it steals my bandwidth and is BAD! I CAN trace you if you do and I will take action.

"Yeah?... waddya want?"

Hemmy, being typically Hemmy (i.e a moody git) when I call him to try and get him to look at me so I can take his photo.

I hope April feels better soon, both for her and you - it's no fun for us as parents when we don't get any sleep :o(

Thanks both of you. Yes she is a bit better now but still a bit snotty (which is actually worse, for me, than the sleep deprivation lol)

*LOL* Oh dear, crusty shoulders and hair? They do love to snuggle when they're ill and I'm sure it does them a lot of good, but the state they leave you in...!

It looks like you've taken your post about HE groups down again? I'm presuming that you felt attacked by my comments, I can only say that it wasn't my intention to upset you. When comments are made about other people or groups in public though you have to accept that they will want to put their own point of view across. Your viewpoint is valid, but so is mine.
I had 15 children and 8 parents at my yesterday, and we had a lovely time. No arguing, fighting, swearing or bullying. Your post had me on the lookout for it more than usual though, so maybe it's been a good thing to have read. We're starting a group up here in Sturminster Newton.

June, please don't jump to conclusions that my reason to delete the post was because of your comments.

A while back, I made the decision that this blog was to be a happy place (as far as is humanly possible) that people enjoyed reading.

When I wrote that post originally, I wasn't quite happy about it .. felt it kind of "let the blog down" so to speak. I was persuaded to put it up again but still wasn't happy about it.

We've made a few changes to our homeschool lately and I wanted my blog to reflect that AND I made the decision to get rid of the post because I have been trying not to put potentially argument-causing topics on this blog.

I like blogs that are restful and enjoyable to read. I have, generally, always tried to achieve that here and I felt I'd let myself and (the majority) of my readers down.

That was my reason. Sorry it had nothing to do with you.

End of story now please.
