Wakey! Wakey!
Aaaah! I love this time of the day during the summer! The kids are fed and have gone off outside to play and I'm relaxing with a (must have!) cup of tea ... checking emails, reading blogs and just browsing before I have to get on with my day.
It's wonderfully quiet! Tim's gone to work which is nice - not that I can't wait to get rid of my husband obviously (ha!), just that in a rather quaint and old fashioned way it feels "right". I like our little routine every day he works where he gives me a kiss while I'm still tucked up in bed (alright, he says "bye-bye" and I say "bllluuugggh" because i'm half asleep and then he gives me a kiss!) He goes off and I doze for a little longer before getting up and enjoying some peaceful time while the kids are still asleep. It's nice - I have tea, do yoga, snuggle Hemmy (because he demands it by following me around like a faithful puppy dog!), sometimes read, listen to the birds singing. It's a gorgeous peaceful start to the day.
I like kind of going about my business over the day and then looking forward to Tim getting home and having a huge cuddle (and yes, I do rather like the sight of him in his work clothes - not that his work clothes are very exciting, but you know what I mean ;) It's the old "manly, husbandly, provider" type thing )
So, I hope today will be like that *smiles*
Yesterday was pretty awful and I still have stuff on my mind which I can't (or don't want to!) share here. All I will say is that I just wish that certain elements of my life would iron themselves out and then leave me alone. I need complete freedom of unwanted thoughts to be able to function properly and right now I've got waaaay too many unwanted thoughts charging round my brain.
I've also got the very strong feeling that someone (although who, I have no idea!) is spending a lot of time thinking about me .... call it female intuition I guess, but that's another (crazy) story altogether.
Have a good day whatever you're doing *smiles*
