Welcome to my blog. I'm an erratic blogger - sometimes I write loads and sometimes I disappear for days on end. I write about anything that comes to mind - sometimes about life, sometimes about marriage, sometimes about food and sometimes just about things that have wound me up! I have no comments because I need no-one's opinion on my life - mine is the only opinion that counts.

I'm married to Tim (delivery driver and gorgeous musician), have 2 daughters, live on the south coast of the UK and have 1 aging cat (Hemmingway or Hemmy for short). I love reading, yoga, crafts, baking, daft old comedies, music and teaching.

If you want to contact me, email me at info(at)sarahsellers(dot)co(dot)uk (replace the at and dots as necessary!)

Another birthday party

After Rob's 40th birthday a couple of weeks ago, today we went round (eventually - when Tim got home from work. In complete contrast to the other day, today he had a really long shift!) for my fil's 59th birthday - another barbecue! It was a fairly dignified affair this time (if you discount the kids charging madly round the garden), I didn't get hassled by a nutter (amazing!) and Tim played the piano. Very nice *smiles*.

Today has been much better weather-wise and the kids have spent a lot of time outside in the sandpit and running round the garden. April also dressed herself up ... with a flowerpot on her head (as you do) ....

Apparently, she is supposed to be Link from the Legend of Zelda games ..... the flowerpot is obviously her hat and the (broken) kids golf club is her sword.

Inside (not that she was in much!), April played around with the Montessori Europe puzzle map. She took all the bits out and matched them up to the paper control map.

I did the usuals (washing, tidying etc!), made some shortbread (which the kids promptly ate most of) and ... other stuff which I forget.

Off now to get Rosie into bed and have a cup of tea :)
