Christmas day
Peace ..... at ..... last.
Phew, what a day! A gorgeous, lovely, happy day but ... well ... y'know Christmas day - you feel exhausted at the end! We've got the kids in bed and I'm finally getting chance to wade through all the pics we've taken today. It's been really nice, kids didn't get up too early, I made us all croissants for breakfast and we had pressies (more on that in a min). Tim cooked a yummy lunch (I did help a bit honest!) and then, later, my brother James came over with his girlfriend Ali. Tomorrow, we're all off to Tim's mums to do it all over again!
Lovely pressies this year - can't remember everything, but briefly - we got Rosie a telly/dvd player, club penguin stuff and books. We gave April a Peppa Pig camper van/camp site set (overjoyed she was - played with it ALL day), club penguin things and Night Garden stuff. I gave Tim a mobile phone (remember the hoo-haa with that? *rolls eyes*), beard trimmer thing (so he can get that totally sexy stubbly look heehee!) and a new dressing gown (to replace the one I brought him YEARS ago which was, literally, holey). I was a very lucky girl - got yoga things, a gorgeous "old fashioned" cookery book and a gift card for my favourite clothes shop (January sales here I come!)
