'Tis gone
Our poor old Nissan has gone to meet it's maker. Alas, it has been written off. This, of course, was not wholly unexpected and, as such, we have been trawling car showrooms for the last couple of days in search of a replacement. We decided that since the Nissan WAS getting on a bit (12!!) that it just made sense to spend more and get something much newer. In the end, we got one of these (not THIS one, we don't have a pic of ours!):
2008 Mazda 6. Very nice car, very sleek, very silver and very elegant looking with plenty of room for Tim's lengthy legs. Drives beautifully. It's beautiful ... £8,000 worth of beautiful. Gulp.
Anyway, after that rather alarming bit of shopping, we went off to M&S and did some more normal shopping in the form of food and then got home. Exhausted. Who'd have thought car shopping could be so tiring?! *laughs*.
